NEWS RELEASE: Citizens for Fauquier County Welcomes Robert W. Dove to its Board of Directors

WARRENTON, Va., March 19, 2025 –Citizens for Fauquier County (CFFC) is proud to announce that Robert W.
Dove was elected to join the organization at its February board meeting. Dove is the twelfth new board member to join CFFC since 2022. In January, the organization announced that Bob Lee and Chuck Cross had also joined the board.

Dove has exceptional executive-level business and financial experience managing large-scale infrastructure businesses at such notable companies as the Carlyle Group, one of the largest private equity firms in the world, and Bechtel Group, a global engineering and construction operation. Originally from England, Dove lives in Marshall and is a member of the board of the Piedmont Environmental Council.
“Robert’s experience will be invaluable as CFFC continues its focus on minimizing the proliferation of data centers in the county and the electrical transmission lines these facilities require,” said CFFC President, Kevin Ramundo. “Robert’s business experience is so relevant and he plans to play an active role in CFFC’s data center mitigation efforts. Robert cares deeply about protecting Fauquier County.”
CFFC has been expanding its ability to preserve Fauquier’s future against unprecedented threats with an ever more capable board, increased fundraising and advocacy efforts, a growing membership and hiring its first paid staff person in late 2024. All of CFFC’s efforts are focused on Fauquier County.
